Your perfect business card. Online printing made simple. « Back to list

Business Cards Online

Your business card is one of your most important pieces of marketing. Often it will be the first experience a prospective customer will have of your business. They’ll make immediate decisions about you and your company based on that little piece of card, so it’s vital you get it right.

Where to start?
If you’re new to business or perhaps you are thinking about investing in your first set of business cards, you might be unsure of where to start. At digitalprinting.co.uk, we appreciate how pressed for time business owners can be. That’s why we’ve put together a range of business card templates, making it quick and simple for you to produce professional and eye-catching business cards online.

Luxury Business Cards OnlineFirst, simply go our templates page and follow our step-by-step guide:

1. Choose a product
Click on Business Cards and you’ll see a range of sizes. Beside each business card size, you’ll see icons for three different artwork formats. You can download a template in Illustrator or InDesign or view in Adobe Acrobat. Each artwork template will show the trimmed size of the business card, required bleed (the run-off at the edge of the trimmed size) and the safe area for text and graphics, so that your information won’t run too close to the edge. Don’t worry if you don’t use any of the formats shown. You can download a pdf guide to help you create your artwork in whichever publishing format you prefer.

2. Download a file
When you’ve decided on your preferred format, simply click on its icon to download your template. It’s this template on which you’ll put your text and graphics.

3. Create artwork in the file
You’re now ready to add your text and graphics. Remember not to put too much info on your business card. Name, title if appropriate, contact details including a web address if you have one, along with your company logo and maybe a strap line. Your business card must easy to read, so don’t make your type size too small or crowd the space with too much text.

4. Place order and upload file
Once you’re happy with your design, just place your order, save your file as a print ready pdf and upload it to our website ready for printing. Remember too that we’ve a huge range of papers, weights and finishes, from our standard 300gsm, right up to a super thick 1190gsm. And your card can be finished in matt, silk or gloss lamination.
