Our New Digital Press is Making the Headlines… « Back to list

Gary (1)We’re investing £650,000 in even better quality print – for you!

Our new HP SmartStream Production Centre for our new Series 3 HP Indigo 7R press and two existing HP Indigo printing machines will give us an even greater capability and allow us to deliver on both high quality and competitive discounts for our growing number of trade printing customers.

Installed at our production site in November, the SmartStream workflow was rolled out in January onto our existing HP Indigo 5000 and HP Indigo 5500 as well as a remanufactured HP Indigo 7R. This new kit is in addition to a Duplo DC-646 slitter-cutter-creaser installed in December, and will be added to in the next few months with a new perfect binder and envelope printer.

Customers of all sizes across the UK, ranging from end users and SMEs to larger companies, already trust us to deliver on cost-effectiveness. Adding a series 3 HP Indigo press to our line-up will increase our speed and efficiency which is good news for customers. We’re also now able to better track the growing number of high-volume, short-run jobs our customers are asking for, from order to dispatch. This kind of real time, complete visibility into production means we can highlight issues or bottlenecks early in the process and is critical to maximising cost efficiencies.

Our Chief Executive, Gary White, said: “There’s a demand for high quality HP Indigo digital printing across the UK marketplace and we know we’re in the right position to supply exactly that.  We’re very efficient and have the best value for money offering in the marketplace.”

The arrival of our new Series 3 HP Indigo press is just another example of how we’re continually striving to stay at the forefront of the online print industry.
